Definition from Wikipedia

“A gemstone or gem (also called a precious or semi-precious stone, a fine gem, or jewel) is a piece of mineral, which, in cut and polished form, is used to make jewelry or other adornments. However, certain rocks (such as lapis lazuli), or organic materials that are not minerals (such as amber or jet), are also used for jewelry, and are therefore often considered to be gemstones as well. Most gemstones are hard, but some soft minerals are used in jewelry because of their luster or other physical properties that have aesthetic value. Rarity is another characteristic that lends value to a gemstone.”

We have an extensive collection of high quality natural gemstones which we use to create our jewelry pieces. We select most of our stones at the annual trade show which takes place every year in Tuscon, Arizona. We only buy from trusted suppliers, with whom we have been dealing for many years.

There is a great deal of gemstone jewelry available in today’s market, especially through the internet. Regrettably, much of it is of poor quality or is synthetic. It doesn’t look attractive, and doesn’t last for long. This is not quality gemstone jewelry.

We are very particular about our jewelry and the materials that go into making it. We decided early on to use only quality products.  We strive to make jewelry that combines the natural beauty of the stones with their lasting value and durability. We like to make the gemstones “speak for themselves”.
